What we do
Opening up the houses of Richmond, Kew and beyond
Refurbishments and extensions to period and late 20th-century homes are at the heart of our work, from Victorian townhouses on Richmond Hill to 1930s and 1960s family houses.
Our considerate but imaginative design brings projects to reality on tight sites and in sensitive locations, in conservation areas and on listed buildings. Our ideas are practical and sympathetic to the existing building, adding modern amenities, the feeling of space and the clean lines of modern design.

Featured project
Friar Stile Road, Richmond
A characterful four-storey town house, stripped out, extended and made light, warm and stylish
- Place
- Richmond
- Type
- Full refurbishment and two-storey rear extension
A cantilevered mezzanine replaces the original upper-ground rear floor, creating an open-plan living space that overlooks a double-height dining area with two-storey crittall-style glazing and doors to the garden.
Polished concrete floors below, engineered boards above, and a mix of modern and reinstated character finishes (exposed brickwork, cornices, venetian plaster, steel and metal-framed partitions) express the new interventions and the house's history together.
